The Company
Jaivant Patel Company is an award winning international arts organisation founded in Wolverhampton (UK), in 2004. Named after our artistic and creative director Jaivant Patel, a dancer/choreographer, cultural producer and creative consultant.
South Asian dance forms, aesthetics and principles inform and influence the creation of contemporary work targeted at diverse audiences.
As a not-for-profit organisation, Jaivant Patel Company is governed by a voluntary board of trustees and any surplus funds from our work are invested directly back into our mission of enriching communities through dance and the arts.
Jaivant Patel is the first announced Associate Artist of Arena Theatre, Associate Artist at Midlands Arts Centre and a member of the board of directors for Dance4.
Jaivant is also an invited member of Chisenhale Dance Space.
He is a former Independent Artistic & Quality Assessor for Arts Council England and a current member of One Dance UK.
